This privacy policy explains how stateofdecay3game.wiki handles analytics, the optional public feedback form, and basic static-site data.

No Google AdSense ads or advertising code are currently served. This policy describes the preparation required before any future advertising is enabled.

Analytics

Umami may be used to understand aggregate page views, referrers, device type, country-level location, and basic browsing behavior. The Umami script URL and website ID are configured through environment variables and are not hard-coded in the repository.

Google Search Console may be used by the site operator to understand search performance and indexing. It is a site-owner reporting tool; it does not expose individual visitor identities to this site owner.

Cookies and similar technologies

The static site does not require an account and does not intentionally use a first-party login cookie. Analytics, embedded services, or future advertising may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies depending on the provider configuration. These providers may process technical information such as a browser, device, approximate location, page URL, or interaction time.

Public feedback form

The Contact page embeds a form provided by Tally. It asks for a topic and details; page/topic and an official source URL are optional, and an email address is optional for people who want a reply. Tally processes submitted answers and technical request data under its own privacy terms. The site operator receives basic email notifications for completed submissions at the email address associated with the Tally account. Submissions are stored in the site's Tally workspace and remain there until manually deleted; automatic retention limits are not enabled. The form does not request file uploads. Do not submit passwords, payment information, private account details, leaked playtest material, or other sensitive information.

Advertising and Google consent

Google AdSense is not enabled at the time of this revision. Before any advertising is activated, the site will update this policy with the relevant Google advertising disclosures and enable a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) where required. For personalized advertising in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the planned setup is Google Privacy & Messaging or another certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The CMP must provide a clear choice and a way to revisit or withdraw consent.

No AdSense script, publisher identifier, or advertising cookie is intentionally added to the current site. Advertising will not be activated merely by adding a placeholder to this page; it requires a configured CMP, a reviewed policy, and a valid AdSense site setup.

Your choices

You can limit cookies or local storage through browser settings and decline to use the public form. If a Google CMP is activated, its privacy controls will provide the available consent choices and a way to change them later. External store, social, analytics, form, and advertising providers have their own controls and policies.

User accounts

This static site does not offer accounts, comments, or file uploads. The only user-submitted information collected through this site is what a person voluntarily enters into the Tally feedback form.

Revision note: Updated the policy to identify the live Tally form, its optional fields, owner notifications, and submission storage.
